Itinerary
Begin your journey in Shikotsu-Toya National Park, surrounded by volcanic landscapes, forests, and fresh mountain air as you enter the beautiful Lake Shikotsu area.
Enjoy a relaxing walk along the lakeshore of Lake Shikotsu, famous for its clear water and peaceful natural surroundings. Take your time for photos and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the lake.
Stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking Lake Shikotsu and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy panoramic scenery and capture memorable photos of this beautiful part of Hokkaido.
Visit the Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center and learn about the area’s volcanic history, forests, wildlife, and natural environment before continuing deeper into the national park.
Enjoy a relaxing fishing experience at Poropinai by Lake Shikotsu. Depending on the season and local conditions, you may also have the opportunity to enjoy rare kokanee salmon, locally known as “chippu,” a highly seasonal specialty of the area.
Finish your journey with a relaxing Japanese hot spring experience. Depending on the day and operating schedule, we will take you to Marukoma Onsen or Hoheikyo Onsen, selecting the best available option for your tour.

SEASONAL ACTIVITY INFORMATION
Fishing & Chippu Availability
Fishing activities and kokanee salmon, locally known as “chippu,” are seasonal and depend on weather, local conditions, and availability. Chippu is a rare specialty generally available for only a limited period of around three months each year and may sell out.
If fishing conditions are not suitable on the day of your tour, we will adjust the activity and offer the best available alternative experience.
ONSEN AVAILABILITY
Flexible Hot Spring Experience
Marukoma Onsen is mainly available on weekends and may not be available on many weekdays.
If Marukoma Onsen is unavailable on the day of your tour, we will usually arrange a relaxing alternative hot spring experience at Hoheikyo Onsen.
Depending on the operating schedule and local conditions, the final hot spring destination may be adjusted to provide the best available experience.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the card issuer or payment provider.
